As for fixing it -- give them time, the Nexus One hasn't been out for even two months yet, and maybe it won't be sensibly fixable in software, if it's a property of the sensor for example. Still, as faults go, I can live with this one -- good images in good light is better than most camara-phones can manage at the moment. Hopefully it shouldn't be too long before Google/HTC release the fix for it.
